AIG Program Vision

The Caldwell County Schools Academically or Intellectually Gifted Program works to expand excellence in students through rigor, relevance, and relationships.

In North Carolina, the state mandates that each Public School Unit identify and serve Academically & Intellectually Gifted Students as outlined in Article 9B. These students require differentiated educational services beyond those provided by the regular education setting. Outstanding abilities are present in students from all cultural groups, across all economic strata, and in all areas of human endeavor.
