Substitute Teaching in CCS
Substituting in Caldwell County Schools
We are accepting substitute applications from individuals that have one or more of the following minimum requirement: Have completed a high school diploma.
Must be at least 18 years old (with limited placement) or older.
You will need to complete an application in Applicant Tracking. Please make sure you apply for the "Substitute Teacher" position. ONLY professional references are accepted.
You also must attend a substitute workshop provided by Caldwell County Schools before you are able to substitute. This workshop is offered Four times a year.
You will receive an email 7-10 days before the workshop date. Once you attend the workshop,you will receive an email that include instructions to begin the onboarding process.

All required Substitute tasks, screenings and documents must be completed before your file is submitted for approval.
