Digital Citizenship for Guardians: Digital Skills for Everyday Life
Caldwell County Schools' Digital Citizenship skills and information sessions continue! The Digital Citizenship series will help students and families become more confident in the digital world. 💻
The second session in the series, Digital Skills for Everyday Life, gives parents, grandparents, and other guardians and caretakers an opportunity to grow their knowledge about digital and online safety and security. We'll cover the basics (and some specifics) of creating a strong password, privacy & security, digital footprints, online hate speech, and online news & media literacy.
Together, we’ll:
✅ Learn how to navigate essential digital tools
✅ Get practical tips for supporting students online
✅ Enhance digital literacy and online safety skills
✅ Become more prepared to support students in the digital world
Digital Citizenship for Guardians: Digital Skills for Everyday Life will take place at 11 am and 6 pm on Tuesday, February 18.
