Class of 2024 Commencement Ceremonies Underway
The Class of 2024 Commencement Ceremonies are in full swing, celebrating the achievements of 81 students at Caldwell Early College High School and 47 at Caldwell Applied Sciences Academy (CASA). Both innovative high schools, located on the campus of Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, feature adaptive early school calendars aligned with the college schedule.
Caldwell Early College hosted its commencement on May 11th, marking the first of six graduation events. CASA followed with its ceremony on Thursday, May 16. Both graduations were held at the JE Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir.
Between the two graduating classes, students completed an impressive 9,247 college credit hours during their high school years, totaling a savings of approximately $702,772 for families. Additionally, as these graduates continue their education journey, they have been awarded scholarships worth $10 million.
The 661 seniors at Caldwell Online Academy, Hibriten High, South Caldwell, and West Caldwell are completing exams and any final academic requirements. Their graduation ceremonies are scheduled as follows:
- Caldwell Online Academy, May 22, 7:00 pm at the Hudson Uptown Building Auditorium
- West Caldwell High School: May 23, 6:00 pm at the football stadium
- Hibriten High: May 23, 7:00 pm at the Jeff Storie Memorial Stadium
- South Caldwell High: May 23, 7:30 pm at the football stadium.
