Caldwell County School System Retirees Honored
The school district celebrated the dedication and unwavering commitment of 54 retirees on June 4, 2024, at the annual Caldwell County Schools Retirement Luncheon. This group accumulated 1,352 years of service in public education.
Board Chairman Darrell Pennell honored them for reaching this incredible milestone in their life. “May your retirement be filled with joy, relaxation, and many new adventures,” Pennell said. “Your legacy will continue to inspire both current and future generations of students.”
The luncheon included a presentation of personalized plaques, gift cards, and gift bags to respective retirees, recognizing their individual contributions and years of service.
Among the honored retirees were teachers, administrators, and support staff, each of whom played a vital role in the district’s success.
“Their collective experience and knowledge have been invaluable, and their absence will undoubtedly be felt in the years to come,” said Superintendent Dr. Don Phipps.
